Movies-The Best 2 hour videos you’ll ever watch, wait it’s thee only 2 hour videos that you watch.

Some people think movies are important to their lifestyle. Americans for example, love their movies. Movies is their form of entertainment and happiness when they’re down or bored. Many people even consider the making of movies an art of digital technology.  One of the main producers of movies are the people of Universal Studios. Universal Studios has been around for over a century already and continues to make movies for us Americans, as long as other races, to enjoy wonderful creations on the big screen. Then where are you going to find a big screen? In the movie theater.

The movie theater is where most people enjoy their movies because they respect movies. Like myself, I like to watch movies “for free” and would probably watch a movie at home rather than a movie theater. But for those die-heart people who respect movies so much, they’ll be willing to wait hours upon hours of waiting on the first day of its release and to sit their, in the movie theater, watching the movie.

This seems to happen because many people around the world have a strong faith in movie making and believe it teaches everybody essential lessons no matter how strange it may be. For example, a movie everyone probably has watched, Shrek has a very meaningful lesson being, Never judge a book by its cover, as the Shrek seemed really scary and ugly, but inside he was very nice and considerate. Plus, people believe that movies are absolutely essential for life. Such a person is my dad for example. My dad says films tell us moral lessons that we have to implement into life and they help us become a better person than we used to be. Plus, he says they’re amusing.

Some movies that have influenced, changed and benefited people into a better being are, Peter Pan (The Old One), Snow White, Cinderella and many more

However I believe that movies aren’t really that important, and personally I haven’t watched a single Star Wars movie ever in my life and I particularly don’t find any interest in Star Wars. Just to be clear, I have an opinion too. Star Wars, to me, is a series in which the there are 2 sides to the Force, the Good side and the Dark side, and they fight each other to settle the score and to maintain peace or do what they want. According to an article written by WIRED, he explains how amazing Star Wars is and how it has impacted our lives. WIRED speaks out for all the people who love their Star Wars and for the people who are so clueless about it. He/She speaks for the whole Star Wars community that it is the best. Star Wars to them means a whole lot more than what it looks like and it is their very definition of what a movie should be like.

But I know people feel strongly that arguably, movies can be a part of culture and that it’s important to them. Americans feel as if movies have to be part of their lifestyle, or it wouldn’t be them, just like how Asians couldn’t survive without rice (I’m Asian so I know). Besides American culture, many other cultures believe in films to help others understand morals and lessons.

For example, many movies include other people’s cultures and so those people would use those movies as lessons for others to learn, through watching. Many people believe movies incorporate many cultures and by doing so, it blends together cultures and so foreign customs can become more relevant and friendly. My mom, for example, saw a film called McFarland and by watching it, she had a better understanding of Hispanic culture and respects it more. From this, Movies play an important role in teaching and in providing visuals for the viewers.

Even so I will always fully understand the importance of movies to others, but also always see them as sources of entertainment. Before, I said movies weren’t really my cup of tea, but now, I could take movies as a refreshing glass of water. Movies identify us Americans as a culture and it’s a huge part of our lifestyle. movies existed in the first place because people  wanted to share out their imaginations with the world and that’s how it became an art. Movies aren’t just people acting, but the director’s own ideas.

Movies make our very lives the better as we always have something to look towards to, and as we watch each trailer we are anticipated to see the actual movie. Movies helps us interact with one another ad let us share our similarities and differences. Finally, I respect movies with all my heart, that it’s an art, a beauty, a person’s ideas visualized and a lifestyle.
